Private Commissions
Commissioning a unique colour pencil pet portrait is a deeply personal experience, and each piece I create is specifically tailored to capture the individual character of your beloved companion.
I believe in truly understanding the essence of your pet – their unique personality and spirit – to create a portrait that's more than just a picture. High-quality, high-resolution photographs are essential for me to achieve the detailed and soulful representation your pet deserves.
Once we've agreed on the details of your custom pet portrait – including size, reference photos, price, and estimated completion – a 25% non-refundable deposit is needed to reserve your spot in my commission schedule.
Reference photo requirements
Choosing the Right Photo
Don’t worry if you’re unsure which photo to use—I can work from pretty much any image, whether it’s new, old, or somewhere in between! Ideally, a clear photo taken in natural light, with your pet looking toward the camera at eye level, works best. But you’re welcome to send me a bunch of options, and I’ll help you pick the one that will bring your portrait to life.
The more photos you share, the better! It helps me get a feel for your pet’s personality and those little details that make them them. If you like the pose in one picture but love the coloring or expression in another, I can mix and match to create the perfect blend.
If your pet has passed and you don’t have the clearest photos, that’s completely okay. I’ll do everything I can to create a meaningful portrait, and with your help, we can work around any missing details together.

Payment
A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total agreed price is necessary to confirm your commission for a custom pet portrait. This payment can be made securely through PayPal or via bank transfer.
Shipping
Your portrait will be carefully shipped within the UK via Royal Mail Special Delivery, with shipping costs between £7 and £15 depending on the size of the piece. For international orders, please contact me for a shipping quote. For your peace of mind, all portraits are sent with full tracking.
